What about child support arrears in Texas?

I'm not understanding the question? Why would you ask for the child support to be dropped and then want it back again. The state is obviously not paying him that money until he clears up the child support he owes so he's sending his girlfriend to get you to clear it. DONT clear it if you want a part of that settlement money. But if you dont care about the money, then let it go. but if you want it back, it's gonna be a hassle getting it from a man in jail
